A Quest For Mars

At the beginning of human life, people were not able to go to Mars. Back then, it took a lot of money, labor, and time to build and get to Mars. Today, we are able to travel back and forth between Earth and Mars. In the past, it took many many months. It seems like a distant past since Mars was colonized. Our technology on Mars has improved by miles, no longer needing space suits, our bodies are now able to breathe the air, and now have clothes that keep us warm. Stories of the colonization of Mars have been passed down from generation to generation like a long game of telephone. When the first people came, they must have been awed to see the beautiful red landscape and the two shining moons. In the beginning, there were only 25 people. It must have taken a long time to populate Mars with enough people. Some say they had crash landed. Since they were not able to breath freely like today, they had to build a shelter with oxygen. Did everyone make it through the dangerous quest? Did they have enough food? How were humans get on become to be in the first place? These are questions have unknown answers. These questions are for the future generations to figure out. In the future, people will invent things that teach us that the past like we come from the future. In the future, we, humanities, will find a way to disclose all of the unknown questions. What we do know is the unbelievable journey humanities has taken to get to where we are today. From hunters and gatherers to studying interplanetary life, to colonizing Mars. As humans, we will continue to let our imagination go to explore and discover the unknown.

  1. I like how you are talking in past tense about what is happening right now.
